Szukamy na stanowisko: Junior researcher (with Ukrainian) in INSPIRE Project

The Center for Deliberation at the Faculty of Sociology, University of Warsaw, offers employment for two junior researchers in the framework of the project Intersectional Spaces of Participation: Inclusive, Resilient, Embedded (INSPIRE). It involves seventeen institutions from eleven European countries and is led by the University of Birmingham. We invite you to read a short description of the research focus and approach.
Job description
Time: 1 August 2025-31 March 2027
Involvement: 8 hours a week
Salary: PLN 2 300 PLN gross average, including the 13th salary benefit; the given amount is a sum of basic and additional salary, paid every month in two installments.
Tasks:
- Conducting in-depth interviews, recruitment of interviewees
- Transcripts and translations from Ukrainian into English
- Qualitative data coding and analysis (interviews and documents)
- Contribution to a policy paper and a research article
- Contribution to a conference presentation
- Participation in project meetings
- Support with organizing meetings with stakeholders
Candidate profile:
- MA or PhD student in Social Sciences
- Knowledge of methods and techniques of qualitative data analysis supported with experience
- Ukrainian – native language, English – B2 and above
- Interest in the war refugee support and inclusion policies
- Good organizational skills
- Open to travelling once or twice a year to the research site (including Saturdays)
