Seminar: Systemic determinants of participation

The discussion concerned the effectiveness of institutional forms of citizens’ participation in decision-making in public matters in Poland after 1989. We considered the assessment of legal regulations concerning civic participation in decision-making in public matters. We asked our panellists what are the prospects for civic participation in Poland from the perspective of legal provisions. We also considered the effectiveness of various methods of engaging citizens in building the common good.
